whole wheat sourdough bread, almond butter and red apple

View from the 5ht floor hotel  room.  I thought we would have a nice view of downtown, but this is what we got:  McDonald's and Wendy's?

and downpours all day long,

hence the visit to  the Craft Museum  Generations: Betty Feves    

These look like stone and rocks but are made from clay.

"Feves created her own clay bodies and glazes using materials in her immediate environment."

Winds gusting 23-30 miles/hour from SW and rain, rain all day long.

so what to else to do but bake bread and make soup.

today rain

but yesterday - Newport Marathon day - was sunny

Rainy night and morning turned into a decent but overcast day Walk on the beach.

This beach was not here when I was a child, lots of reeds and grass

This was our beach, spit of sand and a big rock. and a swimming pool filled with sea water.

I did jump from the top level and so did Tommi Open seas with lots of little islands
