FIRE

The thick smoke from the wet firewood  made somebody call the fire department.

Picnickers were allowed to stay and enjoy their fire in the rain.

How does my garden grow?

Quite well, thanks for asking.

Tomatoes (two plants) are blooming and developing fruit.

and one out of five sweet pea plants blooming and producing.  Others just kind of dried out.

DINNER 

Roasted cauliflower with lentils, not too colorful but good.

 Apple Vinegar and oil for lentils

Dinner Tuesday night: mushroom (suprise)-onion-smoked salmon pie in rye crust, no potatoes.
It was much better than it looks in this photo.

Mother's comment: this is too good to have mushrooms in it.
