More food!

After my morning run I baked breakfast rolls (sämpylä) topped with crushed flax seeds.

While the rolls were in the oven I made oatmeal for mom and me.

I have been a good daughter today.

After dinner Aija made her special apple pie (omena piirakka)

Strawberry - mansikka

Gooseberry - karvianen

they are all marja even though the name does not include it.

I also bought some real blueberries picked in the woods, much better tasting than the cultivated bush blueberries. Right now the strawberry season is just about over, rasberries (they also grow wild) are in the season and blueberries are just about ripe and then later lingonberries (puolukka)
