Thursday night - hobby night

Kutoma Vintti - Weavers’ Attic
One of the two places where weavers can use looms.
This is run by the town, great place, noisy and hot but lots of laughter and chatting among the 13 women.

Ten looms, various sizes and ages, mostly old but usable.

One night’s result (about three hours)
From this:

to this

Dressing the loomfrom Back To Front, next step is to wind the warp into the back beam with a help of the friend, almost impossible to do alone.
This loom looks really scary, strings hanging all over the place and boards sticking all directions. Eventually I'll be able to figure out what goes where and when
