MONDAY watching

In 1996, inspired by the 1993 visit of His Holiness Pope John Paul II to Denver for World Youth Day, the Archdiocese of Denver announced that the former St. Thomas seminary would be renamed the "John Paul II Center for the New Evangelization." Currently, all ministries of the Archdiocese of Denver are headquartered on the John Paul II Center's campus, located at 1300 South Steele Street in Denver.
The Center provides Catholics with a gathering place for meetings, media education, liturgies, and classroom instruction in Scripture and Church doctrine. The John Paul II Center houses the Archdiocese of Denver Pastoral Center, the St. John Vianney Theological Seminary, the Redemptoris Mater Archdiocesan Missionary Seminary, and the Archbishop Vehr Theological Library.

  1. Pope John Paul the 2nd is nicknamed the smiling Pope and many people thought he was poisoned. Actually he just died of a heart attack.
